Award winning Los Angeles Event Venue

One of the best venues in the LA area! We were looking for a venue to host our wedding reception. After looking at a few venues we weren’t convinced with the look or price. We finally stumbled upon Candela La Brea and we fell IN LOVE with the modern look and all the in house equipment they have (lighting, sound, some tables, couches, etc) Prior to the event day Omar was taking care of us. He was PHENOMENAL, he went above and beyond in order to make our event happen. Then Hector, on the day of event took GREAT care of us. Very attentive and willing to do anything in order for us to have a great time. Highly recommend this venue for ANY event. Thank you for the beautiful place!

Candela La Brea is hands-down the best venue I have ever worked with in my time as a professional Event Director. Omar and his team are among the best in this business because they truly care and want your event to be successful. They are a literal dream to work with. They offer a beautiful space that can be transformed into just about anything with state-of-the-art A/V systems and screen projections. They are able to offer many things in-house that you would otherwise have to find with outside vendors. Their kitchen is top-notch and the bartenders know how to make your guests happy. They are flexible and easy to work with from the first moment you meet them. On top of all that, their prices are reasonable and the quality you get back is worth what you pay. I am so grateful to Omar and his entire team for being such a pleasure to work with!

I’m obsessed with this place! I recently hosted my boyfriends 30th party at their top lounge and it was absolutely amazing. It was so easy working with upper management and getting the reservation. It was spacious and the sound system- WOW! I look forward to hosting another event! Oh, they have the best Paloma’s there!!

30th Birthday Party

Omar and Hector made the venue look absolutely beautiful for our guests. I made a last minute request that the room be green and they made it happen. This was my first time planning an event, and Omar was so patient with me along the way. He answered all of my questions, and was always so patient. Our guests were transported by bus, and one of our busses had some issues along the way. Omar and Hector could tell that I was very stressed and they were very supportive and told me to let them know if they could help in any way. I would definitely plan another event with them!

I had a major event for a Mexican group to celebrate them getting a star on the Hollywood walk of Fame we had their after party here. This venue is beautiful the staff accommodating the food was delicious..My event was a BIG success Thanks to the Candela Team..They made it all so easy for me to plan, host and celebrate the occasion..I would definitely use this venue again.

Private Event

We worked with Omar and his team to host our 10 Year High School Reunion and it was the most amazing event! It’s a popular event space, so be sure to secure it in advance (we were lucky enough to secure it with only 4 months lead time). We had about 160 attendees and the half room worked perfectly – there was more than enough space for people to eat, move around, dance, get drinks at the bar, and just stand around and talk without it feeling crowded. We opted for the taco buffet and it tasted great. Omar and team were so accommodating and worked with all of my crazy requests, as well as with all of the third party vendors we hired (Photo Booth, casino tables, etc). It’s the perfect place to host your grad party or high school reunion or any other social event. 100% would definitely recommend. Thank you Omar & team!

10 Year High School Reunion

AMAZING venue, nice friendly staff, and delicious food and drinks. Candela was the perfect spot for our 170+ guests to close out 2 days of conference meetings. Candela truly has everything you need and the staff were very easy to work with and provided their expertise during the planning process. The space looks amazing and can be transformed to meet your theme/mood/color palette. It was easy for our shuttles from the DTLA hotel to drop off and pick up everyone directly in front of the venue. The band we booked to perform loved the stage and green room. Overall, a very positive experience. I would definitely book again.
